AirTags shouldn’t be soaked in order to maintain their functionality and safety. However, If it accidentally falls or gets wet, here’s how to dry wet AirTags.

1. First, use a lint-free microfibre cloth to clean any water on AirTags’s surface gently. Try your hardest to get rid of each drop of water from the exterior side. But, if you move the device around too much, the water droplets go into the interior side and can cause battery damage. 
2. Then, you need it to twist counterclockwise by placing your finger on either side of AirTags. Remove the cap and battery. 
3. If water droplets are on the interior side, gently wipe it away. To be extra careful, let them sit for a few minutes.
4. After it dries, replace the battery and rotate the cap in a clockwise direction to ensure an accurate seal.
